300 miles | Green Mountains Ride
june 25-30, 2023

We are starting in Burlington, VT, riding north along Lake Champlain, crossing the lake on a ferry and spending the first night in Plattsburg, NY. Then off to pedal through the Adirondacks to spend the second night in Keene Valley, NY. Day three we ride back to the lake, crossing at Ticonderoga and spending the night at a historic inn in Middlebury, VT.  Then ride through the hills and valleys of Vermont to spend the night in Waitsfield. Day five we turn north and head to Stowe, VT. Our last day takes us across the top of Vermont and back to Burlington.

Please continue to donate and we hope you all follow along on this journey to help us make 2022 wonderful! Cheer on the team and see pictures of daily adventures on Facebook by following Pedal For Women In Science 300.

The Pedal for Women in Science ride is an annual event, and is open to everyone who supports our efforts to provide scholarships for women studying science. Many of the riders are scientists and engineers who believe expanding the field to include more women is good for both men and women. New minds mean new discoveries and new opportunities for all. If you are interested in riding please explore the website further and contact us to learn how you can join.

Our Cause:

It's no secret that a woman's road to success is still largely uphill, especially in fields such as science, engineering and mathematics. We want to do our part to help women pursue their dreams of being scientists and engineers. Our charities provide empowering stepping stones and financial support for girls and women at all stages of their scientific education.
