250 miles | The southwest Ride

September 13-18, 2021

UPDATE:

DEADLINE to commit to the 2021 ride is quickly approaching! Please contact Brian Reilly or sign up on Ride With Us! tab above by July 1st.

Time to get back out there:

The 2021 team will start the ride in Durango, CO and finish up in Santa Fe, NM!!

We may continue to struggle a bit this year, but we continue looking forward to a fresh start. Not only will we bike across state lines, we will stop and enjoy Chimney Rock, painted views near Abiquiu, and quaint towns like Pagosa Springs. Please join, donate, and follow along on this journey to help us make 2021 the best ride yet!

The Pedal for Women in Science ride is an annual event, and is open to everyone who supports our efforts to provide scholarships for women studying science.  Many of the riders are scientists and engineers who believe expanding the field to include more women is good for both men and women.  New minds mean new discoveries and new opportunities for all. If you are interested in riding please explore the website further and contact us to learn how you can join.

Our Cause:

It's no secret that a woman's road to success is still largely uphill, especially in fields such as science, engineering and mathematics. We want to do our part to help women pursue their dreams of being scientists and engineers.  Our charities provide empowering stepping stones and financial support for girls and women at all stages of their scientific education.
