Locally: The Patti Reilly Memorial Scholarship:

Cultivating Passion for the Environment

This scholarship is named for our Cardno colleague Patti Reilly, who was killed in an automobile accident in 2013. The fund was started by her family to make sure that girls from Patti’s local high school had an opportunity to further their interests in biology and environmental science.

Nationally: AAUW Tech Trek Summer Camps:

Sparking STEM Interest in the Young

Tech Trek is a weeklong summer camp held on college campuses for girls entering the eighth grade. At Tech Trek, campers learn how STEM fields solve the world’s biggest problems and discover careers that align with their passions. When girls are empowered to fight stereotypes and follow their dreams, they pursue STEM in high school, college, and beyond.

Internationally: The Malala Fund

Advocating for a world where every girl can complete 12 years of free, safe, quality education.

Since 2013, the Malala Fund has worked to empower girls across the globe, and to make the policy and resource changes that are needed to ensure that girls everywhere receive education.
